BHARAT PETROLEUM COLLABORATES WITH CUBE HIGHWAYS TO PROVIDE A VALUE ADDED SERVICES AT SELECT GHAR OUTLETS

In a bid to redefine customer experience and ensure customer delight at their highway Ghar Outlets or OSTS (One stop Trucker Shop), Bharat Petroleum, the second largest fuel retailer in India, has joined hands with M/s. Cube Highways to provide a host of value added services to customers in the form of branded food outlets, convenience shops, restroom facilities etc.

M/s Cube Highways is a Singapore-based company, which invests in road and highway projects along with other select infrastructure sectors in India. The company has also tied with NHAI for providing facilities which offers value added services along the highways.

The first such facility has been launched at our Ghar Outlet BP-Hosur on NH-7 (new NH-44), in northwest Tamil Nadu. The outlet has been now provided with a host of new services managed by M/s. Cube Highways. Cube Stop at BP-Hosur offers best-in-class branded food outlets, hygienic restrooms, and an all-day convenience store along with unmatched hospitality and superior service. Major national and international brands like Café Udupi Ruchi, Chai Thela, Hind Farms, Kurtosshhh and Red Pepper Express have set up their outlets in the facility.

Going forward, similar facilities are in the pipeline at OSTS BP- Chickballapur on NH-7 (new NH-

44) and BP-Chennapatna on SH-17 (new NH-275) of Southern Region and BP-Biliyada on NH-8B ( new NH-27) and BP-Chotila on NH-8A (new NH-27) in the Western Region. It is expected that setting up of this alliance would have a dual value proposition - firstly, leading to increase in footfalls, and secondly, reinforcing BPCLs assertion of being a caring company. Coupled with this, BPCL would be creating strong differentiation for brand BPCL, hence reinforcing customer loyalty. Cube.Stop at BP-Hosur is the beginning of BPCL’s dream to redefine wayside amenities across India and will certainly be the new Stop for highway motorists.

"This initiative in making highway travel a delightful experience for our customers, with a perfect stop where they can comfortably eat, rest, even shop for essentials, as they fill their vehicle which would go a long way in fulfilling our brand promise of being innovative, caring and reliable to our customers and will enhance brand loyalty", said Mr. Subankar Sen, CGM (Retail Initiatives & Brand), Bharat Petroleum.
